I'm using Plex on a 1.83GHz Core Duo iMac with 2GB of RAM. It's not bad, but does choke a bit on 1080p content. I've never noticed an issue with 720p or lower.

Vespa mounts are nice, but you really need a 75cc Vespa for the 27". The 50cc Vespas won't really have the oomph.
